Members of the NJ Youth Chorus, directed by Founder & Artististic Director Trish Joyce, sang the National Anthem at Citi Field on Saturday, September 28th, prior to the historic Mets game against the Atlanta Braves. We’d like to think that NJYC’s performance set the tone for the game– Mets first baseman Pete Alonso later went on to hit his league-leading and rookie record-setting home run.
