The New Jersey Youth Chorus (NJYC) is proud to announce that its young men’s and boys’ ensembles were invited to sing the national anthem at the Jets-Washington Football Team game on Sunday, October 18th, 2015 at MetLife Stadium.  The chorus performed shortly before kick-off.

“We would like to thank the Jets organization for this wonderful opportunity,” said Patricia Joyce, founder and artistic director of NJYC. “The boys were very excited to perform in front of such a large crowd at a major sporting event.”

The performance brought together the talents of NJYC’s Coro Vivo (“lively choir”) ensemble for boys in grades 5–8 with unchanged voices and the Camerata  (“friend”/”comrade”) ensemble for young men in grades 7–12 with changing and changed voices.
