A Super Bowl Shaped Surprise

Surprising the choristers with a Skype visit from Queen Latifah was one of my favorite things to do with the NJYC. After spending the day coordinating with Queen Latifah’s staff, we told all the girls that a local news station just wanted to get a few pictures and interviews with them. Much to their surprise, Queen Latifah appeared on the screen, and invited them to sing with her at the Super Bowl. My ear drums will never be the same after the deafening screams of excitement from the Advanced girls.
