Central Presbyterian Church is located in the center of Summit, on the corner of Maple Street and Morris Avenue, facing the Summit Library and YMCA and across from the train station on the village green side.
From North Jersey - Parkway, I-78 West
Parkway to Exit 142 - Route 78 West Local Lanes - watch for Route 24 West signs (approximately 5 miles). Stay right after leaving the exit ramp and follow Route 24 West.
From Route 24 take the Millburn, Springfield, Summit (Broad Street) exit. Bear right as you complete the ramp curve and go over Route 24. Stay straight onto Broad Street, Summit. Go through the fourth traffic light and make your first left onto Elm Street. After the municipal parking lot is the driveway for Central Church.
Please note: ALL on-site Church parking is accessed from Elm Street.
From South Jersey - Parkway
Parkway to Exit 142 just beyond the Union toll plaza. Stay to the far right as you approach the toll plaza. Follow signs to Route 78 West (stay right). You will have to travel East for a short distance and make a U turn to get on Route 78 West. On Route 78 West, look for signs to Route 124-24. Follow directions (A) above.
Route 78 East from Pennsylvania
Take the Summit/Glenside Ave., Exit 45. Make a left at the exit ramp light onto Glenside Ave. Continue on Glenside for 2/3 mile. At the STOP sign bear left and at the next STOP sign turn left onto Morris Ave. Proceed up the hill, passing Overlook Hospital on the right. Go through the first traffic light and take the next right onto Elm Street. The church entrance is the first driveway on the left.
Directions from Morristown
Take old Route 24 (Main Street) through Madison and Chatham. At the end of Main Street in Chatham, follow River Road. At the first traffic light, make a left onto Morris Ave. Go through six traffic lights and make a left onto Elm Street. The church entrance is the first driveway on the left.
OR
Take new Route 24 (East off Route 287) for about 10 miles and follow signs for Summit Ave. Make a right onto Summit Ave. Follow Summit Ave and make a right at the 3rd traffic light onto Morris Ave. Make the next right onto Elm Street. The church entrance is the first driveway on your left.
Bus From Port Authority to Summit (business area)
When you get off the bus, look across the village green and you will see Central Church.
Train - Penn Station (34th and 8th Ave)
Take the train to Summit. Go up the stairs from the platform. Exit the train station through the doors leading to the village green and you will see Central Church.
Holland Tunnel
From the Holland Tunnel, take the NJ Turnpike to exit 14 and follow directions from Route 78 West above.
Please note: After 6pm during the week and on weekends, parking in the Municipal Parking lot directly behind the church on Elm Street is free.

Take Rte 78 West to the Exit 33 (Martinsville –– Bernardsville)

Turn Right at the end of the ramp.

* Go about 1/2 mile to the light at Allen Rd and turn Left.

Follow Allen Road for 1/10 mile and turn Right into Fellowship Village.

Follow the road to the community center –– Turn Left after 3 flagpoles.

At the 3rd traffic light turn Right onto Allen Rd. Follow the road about 1/10 mile to the entrance to Fellowship Village.

From Route 287 South:
Route 287 South to Exit 22. Stay to the right onto Route 202 North. Take Route 202 North to Peapack Road (CR 512W) Turn left onto Peapack Road. Peapack Road turns into Main Street. Turn right onto Highland Avenue (approximately 2 miles). Follow Highland Avenue to the end and turn left onto Matheny’’s drive.
From Route 287 North:
Route 287 North to Exit 22B. Follow above directions.
From NJ Turnpike:
Exit 10 to Route 287 North or Exit 14 to Route 78 West to Exit 129 (Route 287 North). Follow above directions.
From Garden State Parkway:
Exit 127 to Route 287 North or Exit 142 to Route 78 West to Exit 129 (Route 287 North). Follow above directions.
From Route 80 West:
Route 287 South. Follow above directions
